Nah. Just Amazon.com has everything. I just order a few from them. Usually don't need more than a few a year. Most girls I meet are on BC, have had tubes tied, or had hysterectomies. In most cases, the ones I am with don't want another kid anymore than I do.

Oh yea, the internet.

So how does that plan b conversation go down in the morning? "Listen, I had fun with you last night. Oh yeah my condom broke... so take the pills right in between the advil and the viagra.... Just one should be enough. Are we still on for Friday?"

Nah. I never really had a problem with her texting people when were together. She'd snap chat a couple of her friends occasionally or look at Facebook and instagram while I drove. That never bothered me.

Honestly here's what I think happened. She was in grad school and we had been hanging out awhile and the for the first time in like 3 months she was finally able to go hang out with some of her friends and told them about us and how easy it was for us. Her friends are a pretty dysfunctional crowd with relationships and I think they convinced her she needed to play hard to get... Completely fricked up my universe, because I knew she was who I was going to marry.

fricking bitches.

We still talk occasionally, but it's pretty obvious to see she has some growing up to do now that I'm not completely twitterpated and can rationally think about it.

Broke up with a girl in college because she was a mess. She would go days without showering, her apartment was constantly messy with dirty clothes all over the floor and dirty dishes in the sink. Fast food wrappers littered her car. It was her first time living on her own and she was clueless as to how to clean up after herself. She was only 18, but come on. Do a wash. The kicker was, when I mentioned it, she laughed and called me a "neat freak".

Broke up with a girl because she hogged the cover, tossed and turned a lot in her sleep and was an ole miss fan

It's a pretty big red flag that she was influenced by her friends enough to alter her personality. That says there are much bigger issues going on in her head and she probably would've ended up being codependent to the point of driving you crazy.

It wasn't the sole reason, but her allowing others to influence her, and never talking to me about it, was definitely a huge factor.

Broke up with a girl because after every time we had sex and despite my wearing a condom and her being on the pill, she'd ask "Am I going to get pregnant?" for 30-40 minutes.

Also broke up with a girl because she started laughing loudly in the theater at the scene in Leaving Las Vegas when Cage's character walked through the glass sliding door.

Conversation is normally held in advance. Seems to work.

By the way, pushing 60 and don't do Viagra. Don't need to. All about taking care of yourself, including plenty of rest. Been divorced for seven years after being married 27. Having a damned good time.

Some other memorables:

-One date talked on her phone to her fricking mother just about all the way from Alexandria to a concert we were going to see in Shreveport. Relationship concluded upon my depositing her back at her home the same night.

--Had one date ask me about my relationship with Jesus
on the way home from a date. Relationship concluded that same night, although she will never know how close I came to dropping her off on the side of the road instead of taking her home.

--One date who was REALLY on Aderall and freaked out on me in the middle of a date. Slept with her that night, but canned things thereafter. Hate she was so fricked up. Little nymph was the best I'd ever had, college days included. To make things crazier, we were having an argument that she was actually telling everyone about in real time on Facebook, and asking them what she should do or say. That was a real pisser.

--Date in which you are in bed with each other and I am nuzzling and kissing her breasts. She actually asks me what I am doing. I replied with what the hell do you think? She then 'explains' that I am wasting my time as there was no milk in them. Bedtime concluded. Relationship concluded. LOL

So what you're saying is you're a fricking scumbag. I'm sure she's 1M times better off.

Yeah, there's just no way I could spend my life with someone whose idea of an adult vacation was Disney World. Go sometime later when I have a kid who can appreciate it, sure.

Ditto.

My wife and I just got back from there -- we took our 3 year old but saw several couples there with no kids, and the wife has a few friends who have gone with friends or SO's. I don't get it. It was fun to experience it with our son, but you can have an absolutely baller vacation in the islands or somewhere along those lines for what it costs to go to DW for just a few days. Again, it's an unbelievable experience after you have a kid, but it's weird if it's just two adults on vacation.

Hardly. I said I 'thought' about it. Probably being a bit older than you, I am one who maintains that females ought to take responsibility for their behavior as well. My answer to her was that I was an academic and that second, my religious tradition (Episcopal) was probably not that compatible with hers (S Baptist). No, in spite of her 'testifying' most of the way to her home, I kept my composure and got her home. There is a big difference between thinking about doing something versus actually acting on it. That said, when someone is riding in your car, eating your food, drinking you wine, and enjoying the entertainment you are also paying for, they ought to have the common sense and manners to demonstrate better taste in social acumen.

Seriously doubt it. In my case, I was a lot better off.
I wish her nothing but the best, as long as it is not on my tab.

I would imagine. Watching the kids have a blast and making some good memories while they are young is one thing. After they are out of the house, and it's just the two of us/you, I would prefer something different and more adult oriented.
