Dude, I've gotten by in life with that exact strategy. The thread is about meeting someone that is legitimately that awesome and more. Didn't realize people were too cool to admit it.

I've met a few notables in social situations but the only one that really intimidated me was Kris Kristofferson. He's A LOT cooler than me.

Honestly it's not even that. Really really famous people can still be awkward. I'm not talking about just pullin girls.

There are a lot of Baby Boomer retirees here in western North Carolina. And those females as well as their daughters (Hipsters) are all over the place up here. I am a part of the Gen X generation and it feels like they look at me like a Unicorn. Someone they are not used to seeing and it fascinates them. I'm not trying to brag but I fall in the middle of the retiring Baby Boomer women and Millennial generation. I am a rarity up here simply due to demographic numbers. And these women are all over me. It is a middle age guy's dream. Older Boomer women who are tired of their conservative, retirement life and younger Millennial women who aren't used to middle age guys of my generation showing interest in them. If you are from age 35 to 50 and want to wreck some serious pussy, come to western North Carolina. These women are ready and willing and you will find yourself in the sweet spot if you are of my generation. I know this sounds pretentious but I am being serious. It is like shooting fish in a barrel up here.

Absolutely not.

I've lately been drinking with Vietnam Vets from the 173rd Airborne Brigade.

If these dudes don't intimidate me, nobody can. The Herd in Vietnam were the fighting-est dudes ever.

Only one I can think of is the dude in my av. He is a world known guitar player and one of my best buds. Known him over 20 years and one of my best friends. He also has an account here and posts sometime.

I used to feel this way around some people when I was really really young. As you get older, you realize that people are people. All people of all walks of life have problems, issues, faults and insecurities; no matter how perfect they may appear. It's just that some hide it much better than others, and they continue to get more skilled at this with practice. They know how to walk the walk and talk the talk. The thing is though, the more confidence is faked, the more real it becomes because others respond in a way that makes them start believing it. They start to train themselves in the directions that gets them positive responses by trial and error. The person you speak of has probably had a lot of social interaction experiences in life, so they have become skilled in giving off that cool vibe by learning what works.

Busting someone for simple possession is the last thing a U.S. Marshal wants to do when he's got the cush arse assignment of being some old white dude's bodyguard
