When WBRZ opens the 6:00 segment with a mad search for a harmless "radioactive" camera along the interstate...well, that's just

It basically takes x rays. It appeared to be the same ones that welding inspectors use.

The funny thing is that BR has truly heinous crimes occurring daily, but the news team on WBRZ (the only one that matters) is just so damn peppy and good that you can't even get mad.

Beats LA news. All about murders, shootings, crashes and police killings. And nothing about the area we live in unless there are; Murders, shootings, crashes and police killings. It's depressing.

I stayed in Memphis a few nights last year. The local news was entertaining and depressing at the same time. Seemed like nothing but rapes, murders, home invasions, and robberies makes the news there.
Pretty sure WAFB leads the ratings in BR as well. Perhaps WBRZ should change their format.
