Sorry — didn’t mean to fire you!

Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer accidentally started swinging the ax last week, as bureaucratic snafus resulted in dozens of employees losing their jobs, sources told The Post’s James Covert.

“They put people on firing lists who they didn’t mean to — people who were lower on the performance scale but who weren’t meant to get fired,” an insider explained. “But no one told the managers, and then they had the conversations, and it was like, ‘Oops.’?”

The screwups — which may have affected as many as 30 employees, according to one source — didn’t go over well with some team supervisors, according to insiders.

She should Google "how to use firing lists" so this won't happen again.

Meh... Says they were on the lower end of performance. Maybe this will give them a reality check and push them to do better

She has been a complete disaster since day 1.

First she refuses to lay off Yahoo employees that serve no purpose -- by their own admission -- and reduce the size of the company to something more manageable. Now, she fires the wrong people.

Marissa is on borrowed time at this point. Yahoo is circling the drain as a public company. She has run it into the ground. They'll probably get acquired by private capital very soon.

I didn't even notice she was sitting on a ball until you said something. I just assumed it was a red chair

Might have been her way of telling those at the bottom of the performance pole to get their arse in gear

She is, but that was the only reason she was hired. She has been a failure from day one.

So a company of 12000 fires 30 low performing employees supposedly by accident as if the CEO is to blame?....

what a bunch of morons.

A lot e-businesses had toys and junk in executive offices.
Just about everybody has outgrown that goofiness.

Given her terrible management style, I wouldn't be surprised it that stuff is in her office.
