I am working on my MBA and I'm currently in the middle of finals.

I have a firm 85 in a class. I would need something above 100 to bump my grade to an A (obviously impossible) and below a 65 to lower my grade to a C.

How hard would the OT study? I am finding it realllllly hard to give a frick

Update:

I got a 96 on the final, which gave me an 89 (88.6) in the class and he did not bump me up to an A.

I could easily make below a 65 if I didn't study.

Do results define you or does your work ethic stand independent of results?

I'm gonna study, but I'm not busting my balls to try and get an A on the final like I normally would.

It isn't law school. Rankings don't matter. This is basically pass/fail for three letters behind my name and the networking opportunities.

I do have to get a B though for company reimbursement.

I'd never say this to my kids, but your degree is NOT gonna say"presented to TheCaterpillar even though he barely passed"

Thursday...I reviewed material last night and if I took it now I think I'd get a C.

But I think I'll put 2-3 hours in tonight and tomorrow.

You should be enthusiastic about acquiring knowledge not acquiring grades.

If you're this dispassionate about your chosen discipline, then I'd suggest you get real good at sucking dick, cause that's what you're gonna be doing under a bridge to score crack in a few years.

Its an online program through Auburn, but watch the lectures of the brick and mortar classes (and I can go if I ever wanted to).

We are on the same schedule as them and everything.

I already do that for fun. I went to Ole Miss undergrad and "Sucking Dick for Crack" was a required freshman class.

Yeah, if you go in there and make a 98 on the final, especially if it is one of those comprehensive finals that covers the entire semester, and not just the last part of the class from your last test, prof might slip you an A for going back and studying the things you missed on previous tests. Happened to me a couple of times in school. Knew I needed close to perfect to get an A or around a 60-65 to keep a B, so I studied hard and nailed the final. About half the time you get on the curve and make that A.

Best advice in this thread. Never play not to lose. Always play to win.

If you go out there and fricking kill it and pull a 99 or a 100 when the professor knows you only need a 65 to stay where you are, the professor just might acknowledge the effort you put out even though you didn't have to and give you the A.

If you roll in and make a 70, you're never sniffing that A.

Also, ITT: The lazy pieces of shite out themselves.

I would always perform better on tests when getting a full night's sleep instead of cramming all night. If you don't know it by the night before you're probably not going to make a good grade anyway
