SO and I are going for a weekend in New Orleans and Friday morning heading down there and going to the WW2 Museum. What are some of the must do's and exhibits. FYI: I wanted to spend at least 6 hours there, but convinced the SO to do 4 so time is somewhat limited.

You can easily see and read everything in the museum in 4 hours. The movie is cool, but it does eat up a lot of time.

Went back in March.
If you love history and learning about the war, 6 hours isn't enough.
I spent 5 there because the SO was ready to go after 3, and still didn't have enough time to read and look at everything.
A lot to learn and see, ever since they expanded.

You will need 2 days to truly experience everything in the place, so be ready to want to go back. The museum really is an amazing tribute and facility. The upcoming attractions opening will make the thing a full 2 day if not 3 day experience.

I would look into the The American Sector for lunch or dinner.
The Beyond All Boundaries is about 1 hr, and it is a 4D film. (I am not always a fan of those.)
Just depends on yours and yours SO interest.
I figured out checked out this LINK already but just in case.
If you SO is really not wanting to do that then let them do their own thing. I would just split my day that way after spending that time and money there.
Enjoy

see the movie, but really take your time to look through the actual pacific and european theaters. it's just incredible how much information that they have compiled.
