I remember when it was a two lane blacktop and didn't even have crossing gates at the track - open ditches on each side.
We hung out at Neddies Pond which was way back in the woods where Sams and Wal Mart are now. It was a hippie haven. Sparked a lot of fatties and rode dirtbikes back there.
Those days are gone.

I used to get liquored up at the Holiday Inn bar. It was a nice place back then and they hired some cute bar chicks.
I was actually told to leave or else once for being a little too rowdy at that bar. That's the only time that I've been kicked out of a bar. I was threatened 2 other times.

Because the people in charge of BR roads think it's a wonderful idea to put a stop light at every single road and business driveway on a main thoroughfare.
