Wrong stereotypes of people in the south?

Probably that were uneducated. Plenty of great higher education institutes like A&M, Florida, and Vanderbilt. People in the north think we’re all uneducated rednecks but we are actually well educated.

Having Ed O as our head football coach for a few years didn't help that perception

I had my cousins visit from upstate New York when we were kids. They were under the impression that the entire state was just a big ranch.

it's more equal than less or more to me, but i think most of the family values, southern hospitality, etc. stuff is more real in the midwest than the south.

You do realize he was head coach at other schools before he came to LSU?
