Would you turn a loved one in on suspicion of crimes committed?

Just got done watching the Netflix series “Manhunt” the case of the Ted Kaczynski the Unabomber and it got me thinking.
If you had no hard evidence, but only suspicion that your loved one committed a crime, would you turn them in to authorities to investigate?
I’m not sure if I could have believed that one of my family members would be capable of committing murder, so I don’t think I could see something in the media and say, “yeah, look at this person, they may have had something to do with it.”

No one in this state turns someone in.
But bombing something is kind of a big deal.

It probably depends on the crime. Drugs or something? Unlikely. Murder or pedophilia? Yes.

In the Unabomber case, $1,000,000 in 1995.

Probably not if it was just suspicion.
If I had hard evidence, then it would depend on the crime.

I have a friend - his mother was murdered many years ago. He suspects (with good cause) that his father committed the murder. But, there isn't enough proof to prosecuted.

How much is the reward? Asking for a friend

Depends.
How much of a reward it is.
If she hasn't let me put it in her butt, this would be a great ultimatum.

if one of my family members killed someone...they needed killing

Like most things in life. It depends. In the case of the Unabomber, hell yes.

Yeah, like others have said, if the crime is bad enough then I'd definitely turn that person in.
If a member of my family does something like a violent crime, I'd no longer consider them a part of my family.

I agree with this. If I wasn't involved, I would turn a blind eye and if they get in trouble I would just say I had no involvement in whatever that person is doing, but if I knew if someone was a pedophile, I wouldn't have a problem killing them much less turning them in.
