Wait, how would that conversation go....

"I knew you're having a an affair"

"Yeah, but this guy's schlong is 11 inches long, and as big around as a coke can"

"oh, well in that case, by all means, I understand".

yeah, no......

Had, to edit, "and your's is only 10.2 inches long, and as big around as a Mich Ultra 10 oz".

I'd tell her the whole thing has really messed with my head–now, just the sight of a banana or cucumber makes me sick to my stomach.

I'd also ask why she wants to get back with me.

Would have to hear an explanation.

I think it would be an easier blow for me to absorb than another man.

any guy who does this is a sucker plain and simple

if it was a girlfriend or fiance, I'd cut it off right then and there.

if it was my wife, I'd start divorce proceedings.

I did. Five years after my wife was treated for alcoholism she told me about having an affair while she was using. Her reasons is that she wanted to lay all her baggage on the table. She offered sincere apologies and sought forgiveness but stated she understood that I owed her nothing. Simply put....she wanted to come clean. We were both young at the time and after the fact I had ample evidence that she was running around but chose to ignore what for me was the unthinkable.

Fast forward 25 yeas and we are still married and she hasn't had a drop of alcohol since. All of that being said I've always wished I'd have just never known.

I admire you for being strong enough to stick it out. I have been cheated on and I can't fully describe the sick feeling that I had in the pit of my stomach and utter disbelief.

When my first wife ran around cheating on me due to diagnosed mental issues, lack of maturity, inability to handle our kids and jealousy that I attended to them more than to her...I hired a PI, filed for divorce, received finalization of the at-fault divorce in 30 days, along with custody of our young children, and she paid me child support of $900 per month for 15 years!

There's a certain selfishness that comes along with disclosing a past misdeed to a loved one sometimes. It shifts the burden of guilt from them onto you.

Yeah sometimes the cheater coming clean destroys the other person. I have been the cheater and I have been cheated on. I would never do it again.
