Sprinting seems like it would be easier to train for. Spending 6 hours a day staring at a black stripe sounds awful.

World-class sprinters are some of the most jacked athletes on the planet. Bolt is kind of rangy looking, but he's unusual. Tyson Gay, Johan Blake, Asafa Powell, Justin Gatlin, et al are fricking ripped.
