Seems to me forces should want to adopt the cameras to clear their officers. Felon with a gun, hard for me to feel bad.
A man with a gun reaching for his pocket? not too smart. But maybe in both cases it can go either way.

I have a dash cam on at all times, and record all audio in my truck's cab. I also have a body cam that is in a pen if I need it. I just can't get why forces can't adopt cameras.

Seems like in a case like this a simple video from the cops angle would prevent a lot of BS>

Didn't stop the Sterliing shite.

In fact, they made it worse.

BOTH body cams fell off, which led to thoughts of "how convenient".

As long as white cops are shooting black men, no, the BS won't stop. The truth isn't as important as the outrage.

So you expect them to stay perfectly stable and attached even though they're wrestling?

It's possible that could happen when you're wrestling with a 300 lb man. You can see one of the officers camera hanging from its cord in the video.

It's not their fault they have shitty fricking body cameras. Maybe you should put the blame elsewhere since they are held on by a fricking magnet.

It's sad that this even needs to be explained.

What? You mean the cops don't manufacture these things themselves?

They seem to have plenty of money to buy brand new Tahoes, military gear, and gas for Tahoes. there's no shortage of money for law enforcement, by the looks of it.

Most of the people raising hell don't really care what the video shows, though. As long as there is footage of a person being shot by a cop, too many people automatically assume guilt by the cop and see what they want to see. If it can help, though, I'm all for it.

What if the cops could call a timeout when shite starts to get crazy... then they could get out a camera on a tripod and call out an extra person to do the filming.

I think we should strap all the lazy arse workers complaining about this with body cameras to show how little they do at their fricking jobs.
