Workout board: Why do I feel faint after I workout?

My diet? Not enough water intake? Workout too hard? Combination thereof?
Seems to happen almost every time but more frequently when I work nights and don't eat on shift or eat very little.

You answered your own question. Not eating.
This isn't rocket science, your body needs fuel.
Stop being a teenage girl and eat before you workout

If you're going to workout hard, you need to make damn sure you eat a couple hours ahead. You knew the answer before you asked.

Read about preworkout meals and intraworkout drinks/shakes.

You're not eating enough. You have to eat extra on days you workout to make sure you get enough calories. When you don't have enough calories, your body can't run itself, and you feel faint

I figured that's what it was. Its not that I don't eat, usually eat a big breakfast before I go on night shift then maybe some peanuts, cheese, and cranberries or grape as a snack with water throughout.

He wouldn't have popped his head if he wasn't deadlifting in the power rack.

Back in the day I was on the leg press machine hitting it pretty hard. Got up off the machine and fell straight to ground. Got up, drank some water and went right back to working out. Leg Press and squats always got me light headed.

Food. I like to drink a hulk before leg or back day.

Should have brought some gummi bears to eat while leg pressing

Dehydration could be an issue, too.
Drink a gallon per day, minimum.
