well damn, looks like I missed the one I should have met.

I was only there for a 2 days and then just drove the 30 minutes from Augusta when needed.

You cannot get on Today or whatever replaced Paul Harvey for being married for 75 years unless you get married at 20.

It is their business, not yours.

The bigger problem is having kids too early. Have the same amount, just do it between 25-35 after you have a clue where you are headed.

That is none of my business either but stats prove me right

I married my high school girlfriend.

Many were against it because I was 40, but her 17 year old body was too damn hot.

People they are "in love"?

When people are in love and they are 18 or over they can legally do so..So they do it. Is it logical? No.. but neither is questioning why this happens.

I married my high school gf. We've only dated and been with (coitus) each other. Been together 20 years. Going swimmingly. Couldn't ask for anything better.

What if they dated for 8 years after college? I think that's fine.

My wife and I are like this. Sometimes you find the right person and you don't need to "test the waters." My wife is awesome. Down to earth and rarely bitches, if at all. I got me a good one baws.

Friend of mine went steady with his gf from the 8th grade, married her in college and has been married for about 55 years now. Seems to have worked out ok.

I knew a guy in 11th grade that said he would marry his classmate girlfriend. They married in college and are still married with like 4 or 5 kids. It was like a typical story from my parent's generation. Their first love was their lifelong partner.

I know two couples that were literally high school sweethearts.

They have (what appear to be) stellar marriages. One couple is my next door neighbor. The other were my neighbors in the same house.

With the current ones I always wonder if she nagged him as much in high school as she does now.

I know a number of couples who were high school sweethearts, married (no baby on the way), and are still happily married after several decades.

I have an aunt that dropped out of high school at 16 to marry her high school sweetheart. He was 18. They have been married for over 50 years and she is the only one of my grand parents children to not have been divorced at least 3 times.

I'm like you. We've been together going on 26 years and will be married 23 this years. We are soulmates. We have two kids and a great marriage. God sent us to one another. We difn't have to "sow our wild oats" as some used to ask us.

If it works why not? Half will still end in a divorce, same as if they test the waters.
