I never play the lottery but I'm playing this week.

I never play, but the reason no one has won this ginormous jackpot so far is … I am destined to win it all. Me.
Buying 5 tickets before Wednesday.

I haven't played in a long time. Bought 20 tickets yesterday.
I've already submitted my resignation.

I rarely play, but when it's this large I'm sucked into playing as well. I'm putting down 10 large ones as well by Wednesay.

yes the odds are universally against but it only takes one, and you can't win if you don't play. So why not spend a couple of bucks? Makes perfect sense to me once in a while.

I just played for 53 years and broke even. Not bad (hit a 10K win in year 4).

I'm in for 1 ticket this week.

If you are playing to win, you are wasting money. If you are playing to day dream then the money is well spent...

I am destined.. I caught a piece of fake poo at a parade that will be placed on my boss' desk Thursday.

That is what it is all about. It sure as hell isn't an investment.

I once had a client that had an employee put in his notice and he said "I'm going to win the Powerball this weekend so I'm retiring."
They later found out he was pranking his employer. His grandfather had died and left him a large sum of money so he didn't have to work any more.
He freaked the employer out.

What I don't understand is why people go nuts when the pot gets big. Is 200M not enough?
Posted on 2/9/15 at 10:57 am to wickowick
Took me 227 years playing my lucky numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, but I finally hit the $1mill prize. Seems worth it.

1 for destiny, 4 to pay the devil his due.

A couple of dollars to daydream seems reasonable to me to escape for about 10 minutes.
