Will Washington & Lee University ever drop the Lee from its name?

The ultimate goal is to erase history like Germany has tried to do with what Hitler did.
Yet..it's too hard for them to let go of and it has to be brought up all the time.
It's ironic..as much as they bitch and remind people what happened, it seems they would want the monuments around more than anyone else.

There's enough money from that university to keep that name. There's a big W&L alumni presence in Nola and each and everyone one are ballin.

It has started with Lee and will eventually move to slaveholders, which includes Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe and Jackson, to name a few.

As an alumnus of W&L I can tell you that we will burn the place to the ground and bury the ashes before we vote to rename the General's school.
The man is buried in the middle of campus. His horse is buried there. The horse's stall door remains open for him to ever return at his leisure.
