How? You don't have to be point blank to shoot a gun.

no comment that she comes across as trashy. only to end the situation he pulls her by her hair down the street.

people are painting hayes as a thug.

the smiths seem to be wholesome people.

Judge called lawyers up to the bench. Issue is: did state open the door to the issue of the character of Will Smith?

To remove her from the fight she was in with another patron, which is what he ended up doing.

And the cop who witnessed it didn't think enough to arrest him for that incident. He didn't like how Will treated him after the fact

But, when Fuller asked McAllister if McAllister was w/Smith in Lafayette, state objected. Judge sustained the objection. Fuller moved on.

Fuller: your testimony is Smith only did good in everything that he did? McAllister: I wasn't with him 24/7. Judge orders side conference.

If I was fuller, I'd just ask Deuce "Were you at thet scene on the night in question?" No. "Did you see the events in question?" No. Is it true that you have no first hand knowledge of the events in questions" Yes. "Have you spoken with Mr. Hayes or any of his associates regarding the events of that night" No. "No further questions"

From bullet trajectories shown, yes he would have needed to be close and to side

Fuller: You agree you weren't with him on April 9? You don't know how much alcohol he consumed on that night? @wdsu

close is like 2 steps whens supposedly there were arguments and punches thrown. Like I said, the space this all went down in was like the size of a small hallway.

Fuller finishes w/ McAllister. Napoli on redirect. He's trying to show jury this want a 'stunt' & McAllister is 'character' witness. @wdsu

Link? 10-15 feet is already close, doesn't mean that Hayes approached smith.

Except that isn't what happened:

quote:

"He didn't strike her with a fist. He didn't slap her. He didn't kick her. He didn't drag her down the street. She had no injuries," Perrodin said, adding that the facts of the case only show that Smith forced his wife down Jefferson Street.

You should actually know what you're talking about
