Yes I have, can you with logic state why your unbelief is rational?
I'll save you some time but feel free to take the chance. It is not possible for you do so because somewhere you will use faith as justification the same way believers do.

There is no evidence that any one of the many world religions is true. No physical, actual evidence that anyone can point to. They are all based on faith. Which ultimately means "we can't prove it, you'll just have to believe us."
Thinking logically, there is not enough evidence to make a decision one way or the other. I have no idea what happens before death, after death, if there is a god, if there isn't a god, etc etc etc. You know why? Because there is no evidence. We are flying blind. That is logic.
Now let's flip it. Can you explain why your belief is rational?

You're eating the literal body and blood of Christ when you take communion.
Since when was the bible supposed to be taken literally? I went to Catholic school from K-12 and was always taught it was to be taken contextually, not literally.

Is there an index for which passages are supposed to be taken literally and which ones aren't? Or is it just pick and choose what you want to believe?

I was pointing out some examples you posted earlier which were more than obviously meant to be taken in a contextual sense. Do you truly think people believe that Abraham had over 500 kids?

No.
Who makes the call as to what is too far fetched?
The whole Adam and Eve thing isn't supposed to be taken literally but transubstantiation is? Who makes that call? Because if you want to apply logic to the bible, get prepared to throw out chunks of important stuff.

That's right, forgot it was David Miscavige's father.
To those that don't know...David Miscavige is the current head of the Scientology church. He is like the Pope of Scientology. What he says goes. It's been reported that he is very abusive as well. Numerous people have come out and reported how they were physically assaulted by David while they were members of the church.
How sad is that you have to actually plan an escape from something that your own son is the head of?

Someone obviiusly became triggered. Or maybe the Scientologist wackos got wind of this thread and threatened to sue the entire TD staff if they didnt anchor it. Thats what they did with the IRS so it can obviously be done with TD right?

Everything that exists has an explanation of its existence, either in the necessity of its own nature or in an external cause.
If the universe has an explanation of its existence, that explanation is God.
The universe exists.
Therefore, the universe has an explanation of its existence.
Therefore, the explanation of the universe’s existence is God.

You should know if you went to catholic schools that you indeed are eating of the literal body and blood of christ.

The bread and wine were used as a symbol of the body and blood of Christ. Pretty sure we werent taught that it was "literally" the body and blood.

In a catholic school they never mentioned transubstantiation???
In all the time you went there from K-12 ?

Because it is logically sound.
What other explanation would you give?

The opposite of yours is equally as plausible.

Cherry-picking is at the core of most religion. No surprise there.

what is the opposite?
If atheism is true, the universe has no explanation of its existence.
is that something you would go with?
