So are you assuming the kids backpacks are attached to the kid at all times? Like there is no way the backpack was in the living room while the kids were sleeping with their doors closed?

My wife taught a kid who would come to school in raggedy shoes that were falling apart. The teachers got together and bought him a new pair. A few days later he comes back to school with same old pair of shoes. His mom had sold the new shoes (obviously for drugs). Teachers bought him a second new pair and would have him change into new pair in the morning when he arrived for class and change back into old pair to go home.
Teachers see some sad stuff.

Couple years ago an indoor grow was found because elementary age kids reeked of weed. The grow was in the room next door to the kids bedroom.

I'd much rather my doctor be stoned and extra careful than piss drunk with no coordination. Time for idiots like you to realize pot is much safer than alcohol. It also doesn't give you a hangover or make you feel like shite and throw up all night unless you smoke waaaaayyyyy too much.

I taught kindergarten in New Orleans and my students knew what a triple beam scale is because their parents/relatives had them at home.
At recess I would walk around the playground and dispose of empty liquor bottles and occasionally needles.
One day while I found empty tiny ziplock bags which i picked up to throw away and my kids start yelling " Teacher got a weed bag!! Teacher got a weed bag!!"
