It's all just a test of how gullible you are.

- Depression

- No love, care, self sacrifice for your fellow man. Its all about ME.

- Arrogance, selfishness, insecurity and narcissism to the max. Hardly any humble people out there.

Pretty awesome, huh?

To answer your question, life can be pretty bleak and depressing, some might even say meaningless, since we all die and our memories will be gone. As an adult this becomes easier to accept but would be traumatic and confusing for a child to hear. I would never tell a child they will rot in the ground when they die.

Santa Claus is a God thing-be good, get rewarded- but without the hell, so it's good for children.

The people telling you to get good grades probably genuinely believe it so I wouldn't call that a lie. Most people telling you to believe in God or go to hell truly believe, so that's not really a lie, moreso them spreading information that they believe is true.

Reading your other examples, I think you have a good idea for a thread here but it's not coming out of your brain very gracefully.

It's annoying when you can get the same amount of work done in 20 hours or working from home but you have to go to the office 40 hours anyway. Total waste of time

Pot will make you retarded and psychedelics will make you have three-legged rubber babies. Oh, and, while we are at it, trickle-down economics, the Soviet Union was about to cause a nuclear war at any minute, Saddam had weapons of mass destruction aimed at our heads and a shitload of all kinds of other jazz. Way of the world. Propaganda. Learn early and forget not. Think for yourself. Be true to yourself. And don't let herd-think direct you. Good thing to learn that at an early age and remember it to old age. And rare indeed.

I'm confused about the good grades one. In the legal field, good grades is the difference between 60k coming out and starting at 100k.

- breakfast is the most important meal of the day

- eating "fat" makes you gain weight

- "milk does your body good"

- follow the food guide pyramid and eat 12 servings of grains per day

- eat every two hours to rev up your metabolism

lies, everywhere.

In his defense, he reads the OT a lot where everybody's boss/neighbor/uncle is a 3rd grade dropout worth over 50 million and plumbers make 6 figures right off the bat.

I agree, but that doesn't mean they still aren't sins. And he wasn't lied about them.

I agree with most but thankfully the religious shite went in the garbage can. Much better off as an adult without that toxicity.
