If she's a good girl she will do whatever it takes on Nov 14.

That's why you marry a woman that asks you to go over the roster in August so she knows all the new kid's numbers.

Does it matter if they schedule.

If you don't want to go, don't go.

But lawd, man up and tell her that instead of her making the plans.

She will lose respect for you for not stating how you truly think.

I've missed many weddings, births, funerals, birthday parties and other events just to watch LSU play a cupcake team and blow them out

I regret nothing

One of my good friends from high school got married on LSU-Ole Miss game weekend back in 2013. His wife got pissed when around half of the people didn't come because of "a stupid football game". Her actual words.

Wont matter. We play a cupcake that day.

No way I could spend the rest of my life with a woman who refers to the LSU-Ole Miss game as just "a stupid football game". Your friend should get a divorce

LSU screwed up and lost to Arky in 2010. This put the Tigers in the Cotton Bowl the night of my rehearsal dinner. We had a noon wedding the following day, so most people just simply left the reception a little early to watch the Saints get the shite kicked out of them by the Seahawks in the play offs.

I'd rather a woman who knows how to spell.

I purposely scheduled my wedding during LSU/Auburn - UT/Bama because we got the event space cheaper and I knew I would have a nice small headcount like I wanted. Plus, both me and the wife's favorite season is fall, especially in the mountains. I've missed many a football game doing other things that I wanted to do, so this doesn't really bother me.

I talked with my sister tonight who went to college in the south. She said she used to be against events in the fall but as she's gotten over, she doesn't give a shite and if younshit want to go to her event, that's your choice and she doesn't care. I do think that's a pretty valid point.

My wife set our wedding the week after the national championship because she knew there wasn't a cold day in hell chance that I was going to miss an lsu game.

To be fair, you can't really schedule your own birthday. But yes, if you have a wedding during football season, you deserve for no one to show up.

I bet you put the seat back down.
