All these daycares sit empty why isnt there one or two that stay open later? Maybe just Thursday- Saturday night. With all the shift workers, on-call medical, and mama needs to get her groove on type events that happen everyday, it boggles my mind that there isnt a place to drop kids off for a night out. You have to have family or a baby sitter?

I don't have any kid, is there something drastically different between day and night care?

You can hire a "night nurse" not to be confused with the other kind.

There's a place by my house that does that. I don't know what time it closes.

BR had a place on Bluebonnet when I lived there that we would use. Also used a place in Denham right across the street from RaceTrac.

I dont think they advertise enough, have a friend coming in town and we have to tote a 2 year old with us because she can't find a babysitter

Tell her to google. Plus I imagine most people who need that service are pretty proactive in finding it. No need to wait for a commercial.

I'm guessing most of these places get all the business they can handle pretty much on word of mouth on nightshift folks asking other nightshift folks.

My cousin tried that. It was pretty successful for awhile and then he went to jail. He'll probably be there awhile.

Went to a casino few months back (a concert not to gamble like a degenerate) and at 1 AM there were several kids in a daycare facility at the casino all running around.

That was a first for me

Because I can't bang the almost-17 year old babysitter in the front seat of my Range Rover if I take the kid to "night care."

I would imagine if there is enough demand for it in certain places, it is probably a thing.

They're called casino parking garages.
