The same way you would with any service; ie massage, why can't I get jerked off. Imagine a world where you can get jerked off during finals or between lunch breaks at work. Geez, it almost as satisfying as getting high work.

How many massages do you ask for on the side of the street? I don't see many places that offer roadside massages. Most services have a store front.

Brothels would be the way to go... With health screenings somehow required

I believe it is Australia that has a brothel that does that. I watched something on natgeo about it one time. Each of the "workers" is trained to inspect genitals for diseases, and condoms are always required.

ok you going full retard

when weed was illegal we never saw storefronts. Well now we see them. If you want to get jerked off go to an establishment and get it done.

So you are referring to the brothel that I already mentioned would be the only way it would work? When most think of prostitution it is side of the road transactions that solicit themselves and will come to you whereas a brothel solicits as a whole and you go to it.

This is why brothels are the only way to do it.

So... Would you have to work in a "store" in order to get licensed to prostitute, or can anyone get licensed?

Well yeah... As long as paper work (ie taxes) are involved, but what about the crack whore that just wants to do it on her own? Is that going to be illegal?

Maybe down the mythical road of legal prostitution we can get it pushed through.

That's just the black market which exists by definition regardless of legality. It could be run and taxed to some extent just like other services. But ultimately you are right. It isn't legal because of probable difficulties with taxes/regulation/etc. It still seems hypocritical to me on the face of it.

Absolutely, but if it wasn't a pain in the arse it wouldn't be fun.

Technically porn actors are acting. That's why it isn't considered prostitution.

Apparently no one in this thread has been to Amsterdam. The whores have storefronts, the prices are listed upfront, its regulated, and the quality of the whores is therefore shockingly good. Really nice looking girls. When its legal and regulated, no one will want the crackwhore in the alley. Just as there's not a big moonshine market now that Albertsons sells liquor.

They can tax prostitutes the same way they tax plumbers, electricians, masseuses, and anyone else who sells a service. Its not complicated.

Prostitution is illegal bc of the childish Puritanical mindset of the general populace and the politicians elected. There's simply no other logical reason to outlaw the selling of something that is free to give.

well does she have a license, can i check her reviews, etc.

Look, you don't buy alcohol from people on the street anymore, and you won't be buying weed from people on the street anymore, so why not take it a step further. Seems like now is the time to test societal norms once again. The feminist should be on board, one less pimp on the street.

The crackdown started because of the spread of disease and white slavery. The womens christian temperence union, the same ones behind prohibition, got involved. Hoke vs the US made it a State issue.
