It's Calc I (Engineering Calculus) at LSU, you ignorant f*cking Gump.

If you want to discuss Alabama calculus, go to the Retard/Gump board. I’m sure they have plenty of Crayolas over there for you to explain calculus to your fellow inbread Gumpers.

LSU doesn't even get taught that math / calculus doesn't change based on geography?

If you’re struggling with freshman level calc just wait until you get into statistics. I get it, a lot of people struggle with college level math classes, I was one of them but I always pulled a B. Just took extra work outside of class and don’t be ashamed of getting tutored.

I took the 5 credit course at LSU and got a high “A.”

I had to work hard for that A. The instructor was a very soft spoken Asian lady who spoke terribly broken English, so I learned most of the material on my own.

With an instructor I could have heard and understood, Calculus would’ve been much more fun.

Because 9 plus 10 = 21.

For me, it was the Chinese professor who barely spoke English, and the fact I took it as a summer class and attended maybe 10% of the lectures.

Did the professor’s name sound like “How-How? ”

At first it was difficult for me. The concept of derivatives and integrals was simple but the algebra was difficult until I discovered the secret of negative reciprocals. In addition a visiting professor from Poland taught the class a light year better than the Asian and American professors.

If I could pass it, with the amount of studying I did, it isn't that difficult.

Once took a CM class, somebody in my group project looked at me like I was Einstein when I told him that I was in Calc 3.

He didn't realized that Calc 2, 3, etc. were real classes

Calc 1 starts off with like 100 class sections and when you get to Calc 3 there’s 15 people left.

Math made sense after calculus, particularly graphs and solving word problems.

Ummm No.

I took pre algebra in middle school, algebra in 9th grade. If you know how to add, subtract, multiply and divide then you just have to learn the rules in algebra and you will be fine.

This is a pet peeve of mine, but I always had when someone says "I didn't do well in algebra, I just never understood how you can use letters in math".

IMO, a lot of people already have it in there head that they are bad at math so they don't try as hard because they already have an excuse.

Anyone need help let me know, I will give you a different way to look at things.
