Because you know, BamaScoop, exactly what a successful athletic program can do for a university. Or you should know what UAT has done since it changed its commitment in 2003.
It all goes hand in hand. The major difference at LSU is our State Constitution. Until that changes, higher education in Louisiana will always suffer at budget shortfalls.

Why doesn't the university streamline and get rid of its top heavy, non education administration positions? Or outsource maintenance to a non state employee company?
Salary, and especially benefits of non education staff is siphoning off huge chunks of money from teaching......
