I was born in 85 and consider myself part of generation X. I grew up playing in the woods, in ditches, making ramps for my bike, playing video games that sent your arse all the way back to the beginning of the game instead of starting over at the very place you died at. No cell phones and I was home just before dark for dinner. Kids born in the 90's don't have a clue.

There is wide disagreement over when X ends, I was born in 81 and I'm damn sure not a millenial.

But you're a dumbass who supported Hillary

Which is insane. The if you were born in 85 you have no shared growing up experiences with someone who was born in 1997

Scientifically defined based on the research we produce, I saw that millineials are 19-34 years old. Centennials are 0-18

I'd agree with that, except id cut it off at around 32 years old

For one thing, your chart is dicked up. Most people judge the JFK assassination as the semi-official cut off point so we'll say 1964 so we start it at the top of the year. Ending in 1983 or 1984 so the next generation (mostly) "grows up with the Internet".

For another, X doesn't need a lot of years. We pack triple the arse kicking into half the space.

Gen Y seems to encompass the most amount of time of any generation.

And that's bullshite. Really Gen Y is 1981-1991. The snowflakes start in 92.

When it comes to quantitative measures like this, typically the reporting entity harboring the greatest amount of butt-hurt uses its own discretion.

Kinda like the popular vote.

I usually see Gen X carried into the early 80's (either 80 or 81).

Me too. I was born in 75. No way am I at the tail end of X

As of now I consider people in the age range of 34 to 50 Gen X. Over 50 is a boomer and 33 to 19 is a Millennial.

Typical of a millennial to decide his generation based on his feelings.

I'm born in 1980 but I like old movies and fishing and playing outside so I identify as a Greatest Generation.

I was born in the early 60's but believe people my age have zero in common with people the clintons' age. obama is a few months younger than I am. He and hillary clinton are not the same generation.

The groupings aren't "generations". People growing up 15 years apart don't have anything in common, especially the last 30 years.
