it doesnt. the handle melted. apparently i have to use 'low heat' on my gas range and it takes 20 minutes to boil.

You didnt know that plastic would melt on a gas stove at high heat?

The first question about the teapot explains it has a plastic handle

yet this is Amazon's fault

why are you defending them? i just asked you to find a decent set of sheets there...AND YOU CANNOT BECAUSE AMAZON CARRIES shite.

We have a few sets of Pointehaven 800 thread count sheets and they can be easily found on Amazon. They're our favorite sheets.

Bamboo sheets

they're a scam.

check out the thesis someone did on them recently showing they are not as good as pima or egyptian cotton.

So their top reviewed sheets have to be the top reviewed sheets in existence?

Is Kia's top of the line car equal to a fricking Bentley? No, it isn't. But Kia must be shite because of this.

A: I was careful not to turn up the heat with my gas stove, but the plastic top still melted after about one month's use. Does anyone know how why ?
A:
We had the same problem. Turns out you need to use the smallest burner. Since it's not heat resistant plastic, the larger burner causes heat to go up the sides vs heating from the bottom, causing the melting.

Because you're relying on other people's opinions of things. Just do 5 minutes of your own research before you hit add to cart. That's really all it takes.

Yeah well they do fine for me, but that was just one example. There are countless other out there. Why don't you link the second half of my post.

You have no room to insult anyone's intelligence with some of the crap threads you've been spewing out the last few weeks.

quote:

i already found & bought a set of sheets but was pointing out amazon has nothing but shite as their top reviewed sheets.

It is definitely Amazon's fault which products get which reviews. It's not like Amazon's users tried to warn you by making the most helpful review a 1 star.

quote:

then i asked you to find some there that were better and guess what?

YOU CANT.

I don't know that I can't, and neither do you. Or did you buy every single sheet Amazon sells to test?

quote:

so you have to try to redeflect the conversation by calling me an idiot.

You and she1l should learn the meaning of teh word deflection. It's not deflecting to call you an idiot after this abortion of a thread you made. It is relevant to your use of Amazon, and really all of the internet.

I like how the OP can't admit he made a bad purchase, based on an impulse, and has to blame the retailer.

Again you paid $9 for a tea kettle. Reviews aside for a minute, was the price not a clue.

here you go

It sounds like you want Amazon to sell you a Ferrari for the price of a Daewoo Lanos and it's their fault that you expect the Ferarri to cost $5,000 and it really costs $200,000

aside from the already mentioned Q and A that solves your problem which you didint read,

this is in the first 5 star review and echoed throughout the reviews on the page:

quote:

The plastic handle is sturdy and remains cool (remember you can't use HIGH heat and expect the handle to stay cool
