amazon will almost certainly take both items back if you don't like them. i recently returned a 1 year old weed eater that i used extensively. quit bitching about products not made by the retailer who sells them- it's your fault for buying crappy stuff.

I just recently bought a teapot on Amazon and had to research it thoroughly to get the right one. Works great and looks great.
You have to remember that anyone can write a review. and the people selling these piece of shite products knows that if it gets the highest rating people will just buy it. Ipso facto, the manufacturers are the ones writing most of these reviews
