Why do OTers pretend they don’t eat fast food?

“I can’t remember the last time I went to a McDonald’s!”

Yeah you do. It was probably yesterday.

Because they don't. Maybe I just run in a really healthy friend group, but the vast majority of my friends don't eat it.

I eat Chicken Fil A and Whataburger about once a month. Not even going to try and pretend on that one.

It’s hard to fit fast food into our menu when the chef cooks the way he does.

Chick-fil-a is about the only one for me.

I eat it plenty but I'm pretty burnt out on it. I'm on the road a lot and often its the only option. At one time I liked it but now I'll go to lengths to avoid it, such as eating at the T/A truckstop restaurant. Chicken fingers with Arizona sauce are great.

I sit through 35 minute lines at Popeyes just to get my son food, but I don’t order anything. I eat dinner with my wife. Went to a friends house after waiting in line one night and he thought I’d eaten because of it...nope, just waited...he thought I was nuts.

McD's breakfast is a solid option when you're on the run.

I eat chick fil a from time to time.

Every 2-3 years when I get a blistering hangover, I'll eat Milos.

But other than that very seldom.

We dont eat it often... or eat out often. We cook and only eat out probably once a month.

Fast food is usually by convenience, not choice. But I wont say I dont like some of it.

My idea of fast food is a raw ground chuck burger in the supermarket parking lot.

I rarely eat traditional fast food.

Chic fil a or Whataburger are my go to for lunch after a weekend mountain bike ride or kayak fishing trip. During the week I eat healthier stuff at the house.

I usually stop at the Burger King in Jennings when I drive back to BR to visit. But that’s less than once a quarter lately.

MCDonalds breakfast is ok but I haven’t eaten a burger from there in 30 years.

I don't eat it often, but last week had to drive 26 hours in 2 days. It was pretty much my only option, so I ate a lot of it.

I'm not saying it's impossible to avoid fast food when you're on the road, because that's a lazy excuse. But it's definitely not easy and when you're just trying to get to your destination as quickly as possible, fast food fits the bill.

Felt like shite once I made it home.

Only thing mcdonalds ever had that was good was some fries and vanilla shake. Since the shake machine never works I never go to McDonald's. Now chick fila or steak n shake I'm down

Some of us actually don’t eat it. Overpriced dogshit sums most of it up.

While not that (disgustingly) extreme, I go the same route. If I'm traveling and need some food I'm pulling into a grocery store and grabbing some deli meat or a bag of pretzels.
