Because poors keep their houses at like 78 and are like "oh I usually like it around 80, I am actually cold right now" when you know damn well they are being miserable to save a few bucks? Obviously having normal AC temps don't mean you are a baller but I am all for shaming turds who keep their homes or business over 75, and that is being generous, so when I visit I don't have to melt so they can save a few pennies.
