Read "The Catbird Seat" by James Thurber, it details exactly how to deal with nosy old bitches.
tl;dr:
Tell the stewardess privately that you are worried about the women next to you. That she is talking gibberish and exhibiting signs of paranoia.
Later tell the woman next to you that you work for the CIA and there is a man on the plane you must kill even if it means taking the whole plane down to do it. Tell her you have bottles of cyanide and explosives in your carry on bag.
Act completely surprised when she raises a ruckus.

My dad, who doesn't drink, can't wrap his head around plant shift workers getting off at 6:30 AM and going to a restaurant to eat boiled crawfish and drink beer. "How can you drink beer at 7 AM?!" When I tell him that it's evening to them he says "It doesn't matter. It's still 7 AM!" He's never heard the phrase "its 5 o'clock somewhere" I guess

no, i was just being a troll. i don't care when anyone has a beer. in fact, i never get into anyone's business. i worked nights for years and even though i didn't.... a majority of my co-workers would start drinking at 6am.
