Black people need lawyers more due to the rigged criminal justice system.

It's the same way for local programming up here in NELA. Nearly all of the Monroe TV stations news broadcast have at least one segment sponsored by an attorney, and multiple attorney ads running throughout their duration. It's that way morning, noon, 5 pm and 10 pm.

S. LA is way worse. I-10 is littered with attorney ads especially in BR. It's ridiculous really. It shows how trashy our citizens really are with the need to sue all time.

is this an actual show?

frick yeah, it is. I must have watched 50 episodes in jail. Black guy brought to court by the baby mama. She says it's his, he says it isn't. They show emails and text from each other to prove their point and get family members involved to boost their accusations. It all comes down to a DNA test. After all that, the dramatic climax is if the guy is or is not the father. The blacks love it. Always take the guys side. It's pathetic.

How true. The subsidy in terms of car loans is out of control. Anyone can get a car apparently.

The recent increases (last 5-6 years or so) have been driven by cheap gas and cell phones which have driven up the number of overall accidents (more miles driven) and the number of accidents per mile (distracted driving).

this is nation wide. our state insurance costs so much for same reason we see 12 billboards on i-10 compared to rest of country.

It's the same in CENLA if you watch local TV. KALB has them non-stop. Bart/Neblett/Hunter&Beck/Caubarreaux/Laborde-Earles. You'll see those and maybe more in one news show.

Distracted driving, primarily cell phones, has caused an unreal increase in traffic accidents and injuries and yet you wonder why there are more law firms advertising. Let's blame them and not the elephant in the room no one will address - people cannot get off their fricking phones.

In Baton Rouge, it's either a lawyer or a car dealership.
