Why are the Chinese students so oblivious to everything on campus?

Not meant as a racist thread but a legitimate question.
I notice that many of the Chinese international students on LSU's campus are oblivious to the world around them. Often times I've observed them slowly riding a bike down the middle of the road, walking over that bridge on West Lakeshore as buses and cars are forced to wait as they leisurely stroll across, and having no sense of etiquette by unknowingly disrupting classes in some form. Why is it that I seem to notice them doing it more than any other group on campus?

You seen the latest VICE episode on HBO? As a white male you would be treated like a celebrity in China. Whole piece about how they will hire white men for all kinds of jobs cause they are white. One guy pretended to be a doctor for some conference and actually lectured and was paid to be there just because he was white.

They also mentioned that rich Chinese club goers will pay white males a lot of money to just hang out with them at the club. It's a status symbol to have a white guy out at the club with you. Other rich families will hire only white butlers for status.

They showed expats living there that make a living taking various jobs(modeling, mc hosts for events, etc) cause they are white.
