Why are marathon runners so annoying?

I run almost daily and never talk about it. These people have to let everyone know when they train, when they do the actual run, then when they finish their "recovery" runs.

I don't know of a more self absorbed, look at me group of people.

Also love when it's raining outside and they run to Facebook to post about how "upset" they are that the rain is ruining their run.

Have you run one? Have you run a half? running almost daily is to running a marathon as is chipping golf balls in your back yard after work is to playing in a 4 day golf tournament.
