It's not just marathoners. It's anyone that's way too in to an activity.... cross fitters, triathaletes etc... nobody really cares but they tell you anyway.

Have a friend that ran one at 16 in Nola. He had to sign up as his uncle or something bevause of safety laws or something? Not sure. His dad hit a midlife crisis and needed to prove himself. So my friend trained with him for it and finished it. Never really brags about it but I'll give props. 5k kicked my arse.
