I'm kind of in between it all. But I most of my relationships have been with women a few years older than me. But now that I'm mid thirties, that trend may change.

I like bacon but I don't love it. It's generally too salty and greasy and if I order it at a restaurant its almost always too crispy. I always choose sausage over bacon if I have the choice.

The best guacamole I've ever had was handmade by a lady from Mexico and it was just okay.

Eta: Star Wars is good but I think people over rate it out of fear of being ostracized if they say it's good, not great.

Okay, I see your argument. Good point. Actually I do get what I think you meant now and it does seem avocados have became one of those trendy/latest fad type items. It has everything to do with sheep/herd mentality and that is actually one of the biggest growing trends in this country. Not good.

The real reason why millenials can't afford to but a house-

quote:

Millennials spend an average of $1,532 on a single bachelor party, according to a new Zillow analysis of wedding data from The Knot. Without travel and lodging, that number shrinks to $738. Bachelorette parties cost less: $1,106 on average per millennial guest, or $472 without travel and lodging.

Attending just nine bachelor parties in a lifetime will set you back $13,788, the site estimates — about one-third of the down payment on a median-value U.S. home.

Considering that Americans attend an average three weddings per year, it isn't so far-fetched to start worrying that your spending habits on booze, flights and presents could keep you out of your dream home. Here's how: The median U.S. home price is $200,400; a 20 percent down payment on a median-value residence is $40,080.

I've seen over half dozen of these articles since the weekend.

millennials burning up house down payments on parties

Millennials can't afford a house because of bachelorette parties

It is crazy what millennials spend their money on

I sold a house to a young couple and at the closing they held up a sign for a pic that said "we don't spend our money on avocado toast." Their parents bought the house for them... it was cringeworthy

Truly.

And actually, one could live very healthily and super cheaply on a couple avocados with olive/coconut oil, and a couple eggs, a day. Even when avocado prices go up (they fluctuate widely), it would total about $3 a day.

If idiots are wasting their money buying them and $7 lattes at a coffee shop then that's the real problem.

I had no idea this was a millennial "thing." I've been eating an eve of one a day for years.

I can see a lot of scholarly research went into the bachelor party articles.

Nothing about the average income of the attendees. Also, how many millenials are going to 9+ bachelor parties?

That's how you're supposed to eat it. Did you put raw in quotes because they thought they were doing something new like that idiot that discovered antenna TV last week
