Settle down dingle berry. Sorry my Covid knowledge isn’t top notch. I had never really saw many reports of China and omicron a few months back when everyone else was dealing with it. I’ll just stick to not giving a shite about it.

I live in Berlin and I laugh at how they treat it now. We're not as open as the US right now, but it's amazing what a war does. For 2 years they basically shut the country down when it was around 60-80 per 100,000. The news everyday was about Corona. Now it is in the 1,000s range (1,543 today) and they are getting rid of almost all regulations except wearing masks in certain situations. All you can do is laugh at all of it.

By focusing on zero spread via lockdowns, they have not developed herd immunity like we have done here. I'm not a medical expert but I think that's part of what's going on in China. I'm way past ready to leave the China virus in my rear view mirror.

CNN took down their death counter a few weeks after Biden got sworn in, then we proceeded to have more deaths under Biden than Trump

If you are eligible to cast a vote this November, the only thing you should be focused on is electing Republicans who are done with covid and refuse to upend society any further.
All other issues can wait. You have to punish Democrats and covid-fearing Republicans first. The further this stuff gets behind us in the rearview mirror, the more ridiculous it will look. Send a message this November.
