The only people who go to Jamaica are the ones who don't know better.

Barcelo Maya in the Riviera Maya is the tits.

Went there on my honey moon and the food/alcohol/size/shows/everything else was great.

We booked a private shuttle roundtrip for $100 ahead of time, and the second we walked through customs, all worries were left behind. There's also a ton of excursions near by, and the beach is topless if you are into that sorta thing.

there are several people at my work who frequent the Couples all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica and say it's great which is why they tend to go more than once. I've never been though.

I'm actually looking for an all-inclusive in costa rica for my honey moon in a year.

they're not going there because of it being in Jamaicia, they're going because it's a swingers "resort," also cheap, and short flight from IAH, they probably don't even know there's a beach nearby

Did Excellence Riviera Cancun last year. Enjoyed it.

A few years back we did the El Dorado Casitas in Riviera Maya. Enjoyed it as well.

Excellence had more live entertainment/music. Crowded

El Dorado was very private. Hardly seen anyone else there except staff.

There are some but didn't play. Both trips it was just me and Wilma. I am not golfing by myself.

For anyone that's been to GBI:

How hard is it to get a taxi from Freeport to the hotel?

Did one in Cabo San Lucas. It was alright, the food was kinda meh. I think from now on I'll just book a resort and find my own restaurants. If I'm going to another country I'd like to experience some of their culture.

Yeah, in cabo unless you are way out there, I can't see doing an all inclusive. However some places/locations its really the best option. A lot of them have shitty food though, although they will act like its top notch.
