My wife.

I didn't know how bad my moms cooking was until I left home had a girlfriend in college that could really cook.

My wife's mother is awful as well. When we got married and found ourselves eating five dinners a week out, my wife got to learning how to cook. 15 years later, she's pretty good.

My SO mom, she has literally never made something that wasn't at least some what good and majority of what she makes in amazing. She can make a shoe taste great. One of the reason I am with her daughter.

My grandmother on my mother's side. We called her Mom.
I remember going pick black berries and then having a black berry cobbler for dessert that night.

My S.O. Is #1. She and I cook together or take turns and we cook a wide array of food.

My mom was a pretty terrible cook and her mom is not a great cook either.

My dad's side is full of good cooks, but limited to just cajun food.

my opinion: There are those who can cook and those who can bake (desserts specifically). My Mom could do both. Holidays dinners haven't been the same and I don't think I'll ever come close to it but I'm getting pretty good.

Wife. Mom and grandma are both horrible, and I didn't realize how bad until I met my wife. They used no seasonings and overcooked everything.
