does a former NFL player count?

he was about 2-3 years out of the league when we had a brief disagreement.

No, I'm saying that they would kick my arse.

Odell is kind of soft to me so I think I can hold my own. Like I said, most. In a fight psychology plays into more than you think. They have far more to lose than I do.

My 2 buddies that are Green Berets are both full blown hoss. They are both legit as frick and could kick anyone's arse I know. But one of them, i've seen wrestle a friend of mine who played MLB in NAIA football, and MLB dude held his own for quite some time. He's done a little MMA here and there and is just kinda one of those dudes that can fight and is willing to drunkenly wrestle a Green Beret, so sort of the exception here.

I'm fairly confident a pro fighter in the same weight class would beat up both my Green Beret buddies. I also think they both would agree to as much. JMO

Odell is 5'11 190 lbs and can windmill dunk a basketball

dude is a freak athlete and a hot head

even without knowing anything about you, I'm putting my house on Odell to win that fight

I'm 6'0.5" and 235. I had a bball scholarship offer out of high school. I just lost 70lbs since January and I'm stronger and leaner than ever before. I also grew up in a small town where my house is located within 1 mile of 5 different housing projects and a couple are nicknamed after 3rd world countries. I'm not a gangsta by any means, but I still have a quite a bit of Idgaf left in me

If someone with decent skillz got Odell on the ground they'd smoke him.

this changes things a bit, but I'm still taking most NFL WR

most are going to be close to as strong as you (if not stronger), much quicker/faster, and more athletic

I would argue this.

I would argue that in a fight most of the pro fighters would kick the shite out of Green Berets or other highly trained LEOs or what have you.

But in a life or death brawl , I would kill most pro fighters if need be, and probably so to would your buddies. Even in a "no holds barred" MMA fight we're not going to completely full out like the Army has trained us. That would be murder lol

well I'd venture to say there's likely 1 person in this thread with decent skills, and it's the MP

everyone else is just a bro

I'm pretty sure I could have taken Tony Romo when he was playing.

Agree. They have different skill sets. They train for hand to hand combat, that's it.

What would change? It's still a hand to hand fight with a person that's better at hand to hand fighting. Or are you talking about including weapons?

it's funny you bring that up because one of them has said as much before. Basically said he wouldn't be a good mma fighter because he isn't trained to make someone tap out, he's trained to kill

but yea, fair enough

I just think I have the psychological advantage against Odell. Steve Smith, Sr.? Nah. He has more idgaf in him than I have in me and he has way more to lose

Odell may be a gay, but he seems like a pretty fiery dude
