It's all fun and games until you take a heavy hand to the mouth

I'm a walker, I'll walk away from as much as possible. BUt I have been in a few scuffles. Never had my bell rung so I assume I have a good chin. BUt I'm not naive enough to think I can take a shot from professionals....or even semi-trained fighters. Hence, the walk away approach.

Even in a no holds barred MMA fight, you aren't purposely trying to maim or kill your opponent as we were/are trained to do.

Total different mindset of fighting. There are certain strikes and holds that even the MMA doesn't allow, and for good reason, they don't want their star fighters being crippled or killed.
I gotcha. I guess it just depends which MMA fighter you pick. Some of those guys don't have the same off switch that others do.

You're supposed to be telling me, not guessing.

Yeah, I'd concede that and at that point it would become about who was more skilled.

That's why I originally wrote that I would defeat the non fighter pro athletes, and most of the fighters, not all of them though. No doubt some of those guys have more skills than I do.

But , like NFL players, please, just because they are big and strong doesn't mean they can fight. 6'5" 275 lbs doesn't mean shite to someone who just kicks your knee out from under you before you even realize what happened.
