Could never have it any other way. I used to think about wanting a roommate just so that I'd have someone to hang with or do shite with and now I'd never have one. It's relaxing, no noise or having strangers in my place, no one touches my shite or eats my food, I doubt I'd ever want to give this up short of a gf or something.

I have a vacation house that I stay at alone on occasion. It is absolutely glorious when I'm alone for a few days.

I would have to be excluded from my kids daily lives. That would be rough on them and me as well.

Not only do I love living alone I've come to love it more and more as time goes by.

Alone time is what I've always love best. Other people cause too much stress because other people mostly suck.

Sorry about the split bud. How about this December when the green heads are rolling in the timber all fat you invite me up to come shoot some. I'll bring a couple things of Blanton's and you can spill your heart while I shoot both our limits.

I loved living alone. Leftover fried chicken, beer, and porn can make for a very pleasant Saturday morning. I also love living with my kids, though. I only get 18 years with each of them which isn't that long in an average life. I don't know the particulars of your divorce, but as long as it was in your children's best interest, I don't think there's any reason to be ashamed about enjoying it.

I live alone and am not sure I would be happy any other way. I travel a good bit for work and am completely comfortable going to a restaurant to have dinner or doing pretty much anything else by myself. Hell, it doesn't phase me to pack my shite up and go to an away football game by myself during football season.

best part about being single is that you can probably retire ten years earlier than if you are married.

Follow up question for those who live alone: do you ever wonder how many days your corpse will lie there before it's discovered?

Do you at least put a towel down or is it straight starfish on the couch cushions?
