Who here knows someone that's been convicted of a violent crime?

There are so many violent threads this week.
Kids at school
Brothas and gay couples
White dudes in the parking lot by a truck
Who knows someone that's done time for random acts of violence?
Hard time, not like OPP or what have you.

A guy that graduated from my high school the year after me is in jail for life on murder charges. Shot a guy execution style during a drug deal or something like that.

My old nextdoor neighbor, and one of my best friends growing up, is currently serving a life sentence for murdering his girlfriend then dumping her body on the side of a rural dirt road...

went to school with and played baseball growing up with a guy who killed a guy in a drug deal gone bad when we were 18. plead out to manslaughter, I believe, and is doing 40 years at DCI right now

Yes. Guy I grew up with is doing 30 years in Dixon right now.

My cousin's son is in jail forever for shooting and killing his girlfriend while she was on the phone with her son.

Knew a guy that fatally shot one guy and wounded another on hoo shoo too road years back. I'm sure there are also countless of other old friends that have been convicted of violent crimes by now

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw a guy who committed a violent crime at 31 Flavors last night.
I guess it's pretty serious.

A married guy I knew beat up a girl he was having an affair with, and then committed suicide because he thought he had killed her. He was more my brother's friend than mine, but I knew him. Seemed like a normal guy for the most part, but he had gotten into cocaine pretty bad.
