Who else is disappointed by the lack of development in outer space?

I seriously thought that by 2014 vacations to the moon and beyond would be standard.
I want to fly to the moon and smoke moon rocks and shite. Play basketball with a martian.

I'll be honest, I wish we were doing a better job exploring space. Big step with the Mars mission but theres still a lot of progress to be made.

I heard from somewhere that they are going to be doing very high altitude flights where you can see space. Could be lying to myself though.
