we got Friday off for the first time I can remember. not really enough work in the plant to justify a work day. plus the plant mgr. had plans I think. I've got enough work to go straight through the weekend, though.

I would have to pull out my religious card on this one.

My Company just added Juneteenth this year but it stinks being on a Wednesday. It's okay but I can't really do much. It'll be nice in future years though.

We didn't switch any holidays for Juneteenth. Being a big Corporation though they don't honor religious holidays. So Good Friday is just another day for us. We don't get Friday or Monday off unless we use Benefit Time.

What I really wish is for us to be able to have more Floating Holidays. I would be more than happy to only have Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Years Day off. The others I could care less about. MLK Jr. Day and Juneteenth are not holidays in any way to me.

Not I, we got both and even get Juneteenth. I still have no clue what that day is for, but I will gladly take it off.

This company dropped Easter, but added Juneteenth. We also had Columbus Day, but that's been changed to Indigenous People Day.

Of course, we now have unlimited vacation, so you can basically take off any time you want, as long as your boss approves. Luckily, I have a good boss.
