I think it shows that I can afford higher priced gas but still have practical money management skills.
No. It shows you don't have a clue about engines and gas and have poor money skills.

Thanks for setting me straight. I'm turning over a new leaf, effective immediately.

I run 89 bc my truck's owner's manual says 89 is recommended.

When oil prices and then gas prices start to climb again this summer I'm going to drink everyone's tears and then use the extra money in my bank account to buy premium gas.

Ha! Your maid fills up your car? I've been chauffeured for so long I dont remember how to drive.

I buy 93 because my car says to so I don't even know how much gas is right now because they don't advertise it
The price is written directly adjacent to the button you press to select which octane fuel you are buying.

Like I pay attention to that. It doesn't matter

Do you even pay for or pump your own gas
Posted on 1/17/15 at 8:45 pm to blue_morrison
Yes. But you don't have a lot of selection in gas
When unleaded is 1.83, I doubt I'm gonna find premium cheaper anywhere else

It's all speculation at this point on the oil price. I have heard everything from 6 months to late 2017.
Congrats on the new ride Paigey. What you gettin?

89 is for suckers. I bet 87 and 89 are from the same tank.
It's the premium mixed into the 87.

The only cars that require premium grades of fuel are older cars and high performance cars. The high end, high performance cars take much higher than 93- I think it's something like 98 and better.
