I'll admit that having having two loving parents who instilled a will in me to work hard is a privilege, but it's not something I attribute to my race. I plan on doing the exact same thing for my son. I sure as hell don't feel guilty about it.

People grow up in less than ideal situations all over the world, and yes it's a shame...I wish no one had to. I have control over raising exactly one person on this planet and I do everything in my power provide a nurturing environment. Sue me if that's wrong.

Everybody just stop for a minute and imagine what it would be like to be black in America these days.

Bought one after Bomani wore it. Wondering why delivery takes 2 to 3 weeks. I'm privileged.

You didn't read the story on this? Its like a small mom and pop operation, and they got slammed with 10s of thousands of emails after the appearance. Its going to take awhile.

Amen.

P.S. I am triggered and demand you account for your whiteness and the privilege that comes with it.

Funny it's taught in Wisconsin. I spent a week traveling around the state some years back. I saw only one black person the entire time I was there, and he was broken down on the side of the road with Georgia plates. Lol

In countries with more homogeneous populations (India, China, Scandinavian countries) I wonder who "marginalized" people blame their problems on.

More proof that the University of Wisconsin is inferior in all ways to The Ohio State University.
