I forgot that is a thing. I saw some video about that a few years back. They repo the rims and leave the car stranded.
They make some money on those wheels too. Charging $150 a month for three years for $1000 wheels and tire.

Yesterday it had both wheels on the drivers side. Doubtful it's a theft.

In NOLA cars can sit like that for weeks until they get picked up. I know where some nice cars are sitting in the 9th ward and they have been there rims off for weeks.
I know two years ago I had a thread detailing a Jeep Compass that was left on a street that every week would have more stuff missing off of it.
