Which is worse, the original Ronald McDonald, or current day version?

I've never understood a fear of clowns. I feel like it is made up, like hating the word "moist."

I had a cousin who was terrified of them. For one of my birthdays, I specifically requested a clown. It wasn't because I liked clowns, it was for the actual show I wanted to see in my cousin flipping his shite. I was 6 and I still remember. It was so fricking funny. God that was worth it. What a gift him screaming in terror with his dad putting his hand over his mouth while the clown performed tricks.

I was sadistic to him for sure. It was payback for the vacation where he made us watch Return of Jafar 100 times. Didn't even want to go to the beach and would cry because he couldn't watch that movie.

It may have been 7. I'm pretty sure he was 4. He ruined our vacation that year and to this day we give him shite about it. He pitched fits when we were on the beach, when we went out to dinner, and flipped out before being put to bed since he couldn't watch "Jafar". He fully deserved that looking back at it. It was so entertaining.

To be honest, and I am not saying this because its all of a sudden cool to be scared of clowns and all.. But even when I was a kid I thought Ronald McDonald was one creepy fricking clown.

I mentioned that the other day.

I suppose it's some sort of viral thing, like naming your kid some form of Isabella or being gluten free.

It is. Nobody said anything about clowns till the nineties. Suddenly everyone claimed a fear of clowns. Sorta like gluten intolerance.

Those fries in the OP pic look delicious though. Thick cut, skin on, no doubt fried in lard

Being absolutely honest with this. In 1998-99, I lived in SS, CO and my wife and I were friends with a bunch of chicks. We kept coming up with words that we disliked. Moist AND damp were on the list...as were tunic, towelette, a bunch of anatomical words....

Just saying.
