I would've went into commercial insurance underwriting before moving into the broking role. Guys I work with that did this skipped the learning curve and made real money within 4-5 years.

I actually love my job, but if I had to choose something different, it would probably be civil engineering.
I know it's not the most glamorous engineering work, but I would enjoy it.
